Hawzah News Agency – Imam al-Sadiq (AS), when he was asked about the meaning and bounds of good naturedness, said:

تُلينُ جانِبَكَ، وتُطيِّبُ كلامَكَ، وتَلْقى‏ أخاكَ ببِشْرٍ حَسَنٍ.

'Be lenient, make your words pleasant and meet your brother joyfully.'
